My blog is turning one; like, where did that year go? In the past year, I’ve found my ‘blogging voice’, added to my toy collection, and got to know some awesome people. I’ve made some mistakes along the way, and I sometimes feel out of my depth in the ‘blogosphere.’ But I have had help from some other lovely bloggers, and readers who have given their feedback and advice.
My way of expressing my gratitude is via this giveaway. I’ve most probably glitched it somehow, but if you notice an issue please let me know! I’m a fan of the Fifty Shades range of toys, even if the films left a lot to be desired! Lovehoney has kindly provided me with two of their Fifty Shades Freed It’s Divine Black Glass beaded dildos. So I get to test and review one for you. Once I’ve reviewed it, I will link to the review from here. The other one is up for grabs! I love glass, as it’s fantastic for temperature play, and it can be used with various lubricants.
Terms of entry
The giveaway will run from the 16th November until the 16th of December, and is open to entrants in the UK only.
The prize will be sent by me so you will need to be happy for me to have your postal address.
Winners must be 18 years or older.
The winner will be chosen at random by Gleam. I will email the winner once they have been chosen.
If I don’t hear back from the winner within 48 hours, I will draw another winner.
Prize will be sent by First Class Royal Mail in discreet packaging. I will provide proof of postage.
The We-Vibe Tango is my first toy from the manufacturer. I must admit, I have been scared off the ‘app’-associated partner toys sold by the company in light of the news that personal data had been hacked. The Tango, however, has no need for an app. It’s a simple bullet in the timeless ‘lipstick’ design. Discreet enough for a handbag, but powerful with it. A rumblier version of those cheaper battery operated bullets (BoBs, I shall call them).
I purchased my Tango from 4Playsure. They had a ‘hump’ week offer at the start of June, and I was tempted to join my fellow peers who had been Tango’ed! I opted for the bright blue colour, as it is less ‘girlie’ than the shocking pink version. Blue is a colour that is starting to become more popular in sex toy circles, and I am glad, as I love the colour. My Tango came packaged in a simple understated white / blue cardboard box. Within the box are the Tango (nestled in a foam insert), charging dock and USB cable, instruction booklet, warranty card and white satin pouch.
The information on the back of the box states that it is:
Furthermore, the Tango has 8 modes, 4 of which are continuous vibrations (the remaining 4 being patterns). It also has a low-power alert. Useful, so you don’t get too carried away, only to wind up frustrated. The Tango by We-Vibe has a flattened surface at the tip, for broader stimulation on erogenous zones, whilst the tapered tip and edges can provide more pinpoint vibrations.
Charging the Tango
This part of using my Tango is my least favourite…Sadly, I seem to encounter the issue of the magnetic connection slipping. Luckily, there is an orange light to let you know the toy is charging. Periodically, during charging, the toy will move ever so slightly off the base, making the light go out. Frustrating when you go to switch the Tango on, only to find it has a dozy ‘wasp’ buzz, rather than a killer bee ‘rumble!’ Normal charging takes about 90 minutes.
When the battery is low, a light will flash alerting you that recharging is necessary. If using your laptop / computer to charge, it is important to note that charging will not take place if the computer has gone into hibernation mode. Once fully charged, the Tango will vibrate for 2 hours of play time. Not that you’ll need 2 hours to climax with this powerful bullet!
Using the We-Vibe Tango
The Tango is made of ABS thermoplastic. Apart from the We-vibe and Tango logos moulded around its base, it is completely smooth on the surface. This means you do not need too much (if any) lubricant. The control button is a small raised bump on the Tango’s base, located between the two magnetic charging pins. To switch on, simply press and hold the button for two seconds. The Tango has a memory function, so on switching on, it will go to the last setting it was using.
There are 8 modes, as mentioned previously, depicted in the lealet by little wave charts. The four continuous vibration settings are first; low, medium, high and ultra-high. These are proceeded by the pattern settings; wave, pulse, tease and cha-cha. Just switching on the blue bullet, I can tell from the fuzzy reverberations going off in my hand, that it promises great sensations. As for whisper quiet…I’ve yet to find a toy that is truly ‘whisper quiet,’ but then a whisper can sometimes be quite loud! I find the noise from the Tango to be acceptable. But I’m not in an exceptionally busy household.
I may own my new Tango…but will it own my orgasms?
Strictly Cum Dancing
Parting my sensitive labia and applying the tip of the Tango to my clitoris tells me that I won’t be the one controlling my climactic release. Just like the partnered dance, the Tango builds up its intensity, and pulls me along the tumultuous tide of lust. I am thrown over the edge of my orgasmic precipice and shatter into the blissful rapture of release. Just like the female is ceremoniously dragged along to her fate in the syncopated steps eseof the dance.
Yes, I have milked the metaphor as much as I can, but I really do feel the Tango deserves the merit I offer it. It is my favourite bullet / mini vibe. I will forgive it the problematic charging, for its orgasmic capability. If you are looking to purchase a bullet, splash the cash and get something that will deliver. The Tango certainly does!

Suction dildo to make me Bounce, like Kelis’s single
The Fun Factory Jiggle Bouncer packaging is, well, fun, with a picture of a bartender shaking a cocktail, on the outer sleeve. Inside is a gold box, containing the red phallus. The dildo itself is very striking; I love the red colour, and the wavy shaping. It does sound like a muffled maraca of sorts!
The suction cup isn’t the best; I tried wetting it and sticking it to the flat edge of my bathtub, and bouncing up and down, which lead to it coming unstuck a few times. I also tried it on the floor, and it became my own personal space hopper! That provided some amusement.
Although the suction cup is not very sticky, the silicone is adept enough at attracting lint, which isn’t ideal. However, this should not pose too much of a problem for me, seeing as I intend to store it in the box.
The feel of the jiggle balls rotating is very unique, and it feels very pleasurable hitting my front wall. It is very smooth, maybe a mere hint of some drag. The Jiggle Bouncer does lack texturing, which would be a great (and in some cases necessary) addition, to facilitate clitoral stimulation. This would enable awesome blended orgasms without the need for a bullet vibe or similar.
I really like the girth on this toy; filling enough without being too much of a stretch. I will have much fun hopping on this bad boy. Which is just as well, as this bunny likes to hop!
How does it rate?
Aesthetics = 9/10
Orgasm capability = 9/10

The Lovehoney Desire Rechargeable Rabbit vibrator appealed to me for several reasons. It seems a superior version of a sex toy staple that I already enjoy. It is rechargeable, so it will save a fortune in batteries. It also comes with it’s own storage case!
The sleek outer cardboard box gives the promise of something more luxurious than other rabbits I’ve tried. The black storage case safely stows an instruction manual and USB charging cable, in the left-hand mesh compartment. The Lovehoney Desire Rechargeable rabbit is secured in the right-hand side pocket. It is sealed in a clear plastic case (for packaging purposes only).
I followed the 2-hour charging procedure, before excitedly letting my new ‘pet’ enter my ‘bunny hole.’ Charging the Lovehoney Desire Rechargeable Rabbit vibrator is really easy. The jack can be put through a hole on the storage case, so that the vibrator can be charged discreetly. This is a unique feature that I’ve only encountered since owning the Lovehoney Desire Rechargeable Rabbit Vibrator.
The silicone is wonderfully smooth, and the buttons are very intuitive and user-friendly. There are three buttons; the (+) to increase the intensity, the (o) to change between modes and (-) to decrease intensity. Speaking of modes and intensities, the Lovehoney Desire Rechargeable Rabbit vibrator has 8 modes and 12 intensities. The modes are listed in the manual as follows:
Make of that what you will, its not the most descriptive page in the manual. I would describe them as follows:
Pattern 1 = Constant vibration in ears and shaft.
Pattern 2 = Constant vibration in shaft. No vibration in ears.
Pattern 3 = Constant vibration in ears. No vibration in shaft.
Pattern 4 = Slow wave pulse in the ears, continuous vibration in shaft.
Pattern 5 = Fast wave pulse in ears, continuous vibration in shaft.
Pattern 6 = Intermittent pulses in shaft with steady back and forth of the ears.
Pattern 7 = Faster pulses in shaft, with two pulses in ears followed by a longer vibration.
Pattern 8 =Fast pulses in shaft with a heartbeat ‘lub-dub’ style pattern in the ears.
It’s allin the ears
Being a lady that needs clitoral stimulation to climax, my favourite patterns are 1 and 3. If the ears aren’t going, I won’t be coming, it’s that simple, so Pattern 2 does not a lot for me. With Patterns 4 through 8, some are better than others, but it really is about the ear action for me. Hence continuous vibrations in those work best. What else can I say about the ears? I really like the ears on the Lovehoney Desire Rechargeable Rabbit vibrator, as they seem to stroke all around my clitoris and my inner labia, like two smooth fingers giving a very pleasurable massage.
Last but not least, there is a travel lock feature that means the Desire rabbit won’t suddenly spring to life when in transit or stowed away. Simply press and hold both the (+) and (-) buttons for 5 seconds to lock or unlock. The lock also deactivates when you plug the rabbit into a USB port.
Does the Lovehoney Desire Rechargeable Rabbit Vibrator fulfill Bunny’s desires?
My final thoughts on the Desire Luxury Rabbit, are why didn’t I get it sooner? I rate it 9.5/10 basing my score on its orgasm capability, its ease of use and the level of detail / thought that has gone into creating it. The only reason I’m not giving it 10/10 is because I don’t like some of the patterns. Otherwise it’s my ideal rabbit!

The Adrien Lastic Smart Dream Vibrating egg had been on my Lovehoney wish-list for some time. I’d been debating whether to buy or not, since it is a slightly more expensive toy in the mid-range of pricing, at £74.99. I’d only tried one egg previously (the Annabelle Knight Yes! Powerful Vibrating Love Egg), which is battery-operated. I was thus looking to go for something rechargeable. The Adrien Lastic Smart Dream fit the bill for this purpose. Moreover, it has a clitoral arm, 10 vibration modes, 2 powerful motors, a remote control and is ‘whisper quiet.’
What’s In the Egg box?
The packaging is a white cardboard flip-lid box. It is encased by a white card sleeve displaying a glossy image of the egg. The branding / product description is embossed in silver. In the box, the Smart Dream egg (a bright and fun fuchsia pink, with black rings around the centre), sits nestled in a foam insert. Remove this, and under a card flap sits the remote control unit, USB charging cable, white satin pouch, Lithium 3V CR2032 battery and product literature. A 2-year warranty comes in the box too.
First things first, I read the instructions on charging and operating the egg. Seems fairly simple, as I will describe below. I attempt to open the battery cover on the Remote Control Unit, and damn and blast, it is sealed really tight! Not to mention, the remote is a bit flimsy-looking so I am terrified I am going to break it (or wrench my thumb nail off trying to open the compartment!) Luckily Mr Bunny was able to open the compartment and save the day using one of his little tools. With battery inserted, the remote would operate, but the egg needed a good charging.
There is a little indent in the silicone on the back of the egg, to insert the USB jack. The jack end is slightly angled to fit against the curve of the egg. It needs pushing in really firmly so that the red LED indicator on the egg illuminates.
Works like a Dream
Smart Dream takes about 2-hours to fully charge, and it will turn itself off once fully charged. The red LED light will go out too. When turning on the egg, simply press the power button on the front of the egg (under the black band) for 3 seconds. A single vibration indicates it will respond to the remote control, whilst 2 vibrations mean it is not receptive to the remote. The remote itself is very simple and has two buttons; a power button to switch the egg on and off, and a function button (with the Adrien Lastic logo) to cycle through the 10 vibration modes. I will attempt to describe the 10 modes as best as I can:
Low frequency continuous vibrations.
Continuous vibrations (medium frequency).
Continuous vibrations (high frequency).
Six fast pulses followed by a longer pulse, repeated.
Ascending / descending wave.
Ascending pulses, repeated.
Seventeen higher frequency slow pulses, followed by fast pulsing.
Eleven fast pulses, followed by low frequency continuous vibrations (5 seconds).
Approx. twenty-five fast pulses, followed by higher frequency continuous vibrations (5 seconds).
In use, I find the egg to consist of a lovely soft silicone with barely any drag. It inserts easily with a dollop of some water-based lubricant. The clitoral arm nestles neatly against my clitoris. I can walk around, sit, and bend down all with relative ease and no discomfort. I could hear the vibrations as a slight hum when I was in a silent room. I’m sure if surrounded by enough background noise it will be indiscernible.
As for the strength of the vibrations, they are certainly stimulating and help create arousal. But even with the stronger vibrations I could wear the egg for the entire duration that it remained charged (a couple of hours) and I did not orgasm. I see it as more a teaser, to help create some fun foreplay between a couple on a romantic evening, or even on a date night, to follow up with some more ‘interactive’ play later on.
More than one way to use this egg
We tried wearing the Smart Dream during intercourse. Simply insert the clitoral arm into the vagina under your partner’s penis, and rest the egg part on your clitoris. I did not find the vibrations quite strong enough to bring me to orgasm, but my other half enjoyed the vibrations. I think it’ll be a good toy for couples who want to share a toy for creating anticipation. Those who want to try a couple’s vibrator but don’t want to spend £160 for a We-Vibe Sync may find the Smart Dream a good option. On the other hand, the We-Vibe Unite may be a good competitor to the Adrien Lastic Smart Dream. The Unite gets an average of 4/5 stars, based on over 10 reviews.
Cleaning of the Adrien Lastic Smart Dream Vibrating Egg is fairly simple; just use some toy cleaner or soap with warm water and leave to air dry. The egg is splash proof so don’t immerse. Hence it won’t be suitable for use in a bath. To summarise, this egg gives a bit of buzz to help set the mood for some couples fun. Alternatively, use it solo to add some excitement whilst going about your day!

I bought this wand from StarSexToys. I love glass toys, especially dildos. This wand looks attractive, and the bend seems like it should target the G-spot like a homing missile!
I like to use the Crystal G wand, after warming up with my vibrating silicone wand on my clitoris. The bend is sublime, making it reach that magic erogenous zone, and giving it the pressure it needs (with some strategic thrusts) to induce a toe-curling orgasm. I was using the silicone wand on my clitoris throughout my play time with this glass wand, as I generally need clitoral stimulation to climax. The result was pleasurable waves of blended orgasmic delight. I was truly wet after playing with this wand. I could possibly squirt with it in the future.
Tracey Cox 10 Function Silicone Wand
This wand is the best battery-powered toy I own. I think it may be my favourite battery vibrator! It lives in my bedside cabinet, so it’s always at hand when I need an orgasmic release. More about the toy itself, it comes packaged in the black and pink Tracey Cox Supersex themed box. To be honest I didn’t bother keeping it in the box, I just use a satin drawstring bag for it.
It looks lovely and sleek, and the silicone feels soft and smooth. To operate, simply twist the base off, insert two AA batteries then replace the base. The single button is all there is to get you through the vibrator’s settings, but it pushes smoothly unlike some other similar vibrators. I usually just use the first three functions, which are the continuous vibrations in increasing speeds. I don’t really like the patterns. Despite using batteries, the Tracey Cox wand has decent power. I find the vibrations are more rumbly than buzzy.
Bottom line, this toy never fails to give me orgasms. I use it alone, or team it with a dildo for blended clitoral and G-spot stimulation. I cannot rate it highly enough, and even though my first one died, Lovehoney kindly replaced it and its successor is still my go-to toy!
To get your very own Tracey Cox ‘magic’ wand visit Lovehoney, where it can be purchased for £34.99.
Lovehoney Mains Powered Classic Wand Vibrator
I wanted this version rather than the white and purple Lovehoney one, as black just looks sexier to me. It comes in the standard pink and white Lovehoney box, with a clear plastic tray to contain it.
The power cord is a good length. Our socket at the foot of the bed is still within reach. Importantly, I read instructions before use, which is a must, as I found out you can only run the toy for a maximum of 15 minutes in a single session. Also, when you turn the mains on, the switch on the wand needs to be in the ‘Off’ position.
The click wheel is easy to use, and the power does ramp up quite quickly (as does the noise). You need to use copious lube with this wand, or it might chafe somewhat as the silicone is a little on the draggy side. I tried it out on my neck, shoulders and back, which felt good, after being in a bad posture whilst feeding the baby.
On more intimate areas, the wand really does get me going pretty quickly. Clitoral and labial stimulation is really nice, and I could orgasm fairly quickly. Teamed up with a G-spot vibe, I had spectacular blended orgasms that rolled on for several minutes and left me with abs that felt like they’d had a workout!

My day job uniform is extremely functional, and boring. I won’t be wearing it for much longer…But I like to think of myself as a naughty French Maid for Mr Bunny. I knew I needed to get myself an outfit for this role-play fantasy of mine. The choice at my go-to retailer, Lovehoney was pretty abundant.
I chose Beauty Night’s Pamela French Maid dress, as I like the fact its all-in-one. No fussing about with tying an apron. I don’t even have to wear the skimpy coordinating g-string, because who has time for panties when they’re a busy working mum? Not me!
Get to work, Maid!
I like the lacy-edged contrast panelling down the front, with the black ribbon bow pointing towards my bust. The dress is quite long in the body for my petite 5’3″ frame. Initially I pulled it all the way down. This meant the ruffled skirt was yanked over my arse, which just did not look right at all. Such a ditzy maid!
After that faux pas was rectified (quite literally, by pulling the dress up above my rectum!) the effect was much better. I could bend down to dust the skirting board, and give a cheeky glimpse of what is under the dress’s skirt. The fabric feels nice and smooth. It is 88% polyester and 12% spandex so has a bit of give to it. I purchased the larger size, as I am size 12-14. I’ve yet to try washing the dress, but it states to hand-wash (presumably to maintain the shape and elasticity). I will be sure to follow these guidelines.
The dress comes packaged in a black cardboard box with an image of a model wearing the dress. I think it looks quite classy. There is a silver Beauty Night hologram on the side panel of the box. Inside the box, the dress is stored in a white ‘organza’ style bag. This is a nice feature, as most of the lingerie I’ve purchased previously comes in either a plastic wrapper or a cardboard box on its own.
When I finally got to wearing the dress for Mr Bunny…well let’s say it Maid his night, and mine too! The Beauty Night Pamela dress can be purchased from Lovehoney for £27.99. It is available in size ‘S/M’ (8-10) or ‘L/XL’ (12-14).

The set is not longer available in teal, but it is available in red, currently costing £12.99 for the bra and available in sizes S/M (UK 8-10), M/L (UK 12-14), L/XL (UK 16-18) and XXL (UK 20-22). Other colours are available (see main review below).
I’d had the Lovehoney Flirty Teal underwear set comprising of underwired plunge bra and matching Flirty boyshorts on my wishlist. Then I was lucky enough to be treated to the set by a generous forum friend, as a Christmas gift.
The bra is not available in teal anymore, though it is available in 4 other colours; red (as stated above), black, purple, and pink. The bra comes packaged in a simple clear plastic sealed packet. It has a cardboard tag attached to the inner label. Off that went straight into the bin, then I had a good look at the bra. It appears well-constructed albeit it with one or two ‘loose thread’ ends. Nothing that would cause concern, just purely cosmetic imperfections. The teal colour is vibrant, and the lacy nylon / spandex material is very attractive with a bit of ‘give’ to it.
How does it ‘hold up’?
I got the bra in the M/L size, and my bust is 38C. The strap that goes around under the bust was on its loosest setting, and initially the straps around the shoulders were adjusted so the ‘sliders’ were all the way to the rear. I found they were starting to dig in slightly, about halfway through the day. I then readjusted the sliders on the shoulder straps all the way forward towards the central rings. This made it much more comfortable to wear for the rest of the day then.
The under-wiring gives some support, but the nature of the bra having a ‘plunge’ shaping means that the padding sits under my nipples, leaving my upper areolas and nipples ‘exposed’ behind the see-through lace. The scalloped edging is flattering and attractive, though this bra does not provide full coverage over my bust, leaving about a third of it above the bra. This does not really pose an issue but I might be disinclined to wear the bra on occasions where I’d want more coverage.
Washing instructions state to wash the bra by hand, which I will do, to prevent the lace getting caught. Overall, this is a pretty and sexy bra that will catch your eye when you’re going through your underwear drawer deciding which one to wear!
The boyshorts also come packaged in a similar way, and are priced at £7.99. The scalloped edging on the shorts matches the edging on the plunge bra nicely, and feels comfortable with no unsightly ‘visible panty lines.’ The shorts cover my generous rear end, without sliding down or giving the dreaded ‘wedgie’. If you want some flirty colour in your panty drawer, get some from Lovehoney!

The Lovehoney Hourglass Red Mini Dress was sent to me in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Lovehoney!
The mini dress comes packaged in a Lovehoney branded purple and black sleeve. The front of the sleeve states the colour and size of the mini dress. On the back of the sleeve is a cartoon image depicting the mini dress as worn, alongside a circular schematic divided into two halves to show the material on the front (opaque) and back (fishnet).
The mini dress is made of 93% nylon and 7% spandex, and the care labels state to hand wash. On following these instructions, the mini dress dried nice and quick, hanging over a radiator.
Because of the nature of the material it’s advisable to ensure your hands and nails are smooth to avoid any snags or pulls.
Trying it on for size
I’m a size 12-14 and 5’3″ tall; on putting the dress on, it really is mini, as it barely covered my bum, though I do have a rather generous derrière!
It does look sexy if in a ‘slutty’ way, which neither myself nor my OH minded. It certainly added a bit of heat to the chilly autumnal night on which it made its debut.
I’ve rated this mini dress 4/5 stars, based on the style, fit, and quality of the fabric.
