Short and sweet review for a small but punchy flame vibrator
The CalExotics Red Hot Ember is a mid-range rechargeable clitoral stimulator. It is made from body-safe silicone. Betty’s Toy Box kindly gave me my own CalExotics Red Hot Ember to test, in exchange for this review. As it was a tester it did not come with the standard packaging, instead coming in a plain white box. The jack of the included charging cable pushes into a port on the rear of the tongue style vibrator. The other end goes into a USB socket. A couple of hours later, and hey presto, your Red Hot Ember will flicker to life!
To operate the CalExotics Red Hot Ember, simply press and hold the power button on the base of the toy for 2-3 seconds. Repeatedly press the button to cycle through the various settings and patterns. There are three continuous vibration settings and seven patterns. I won’t say much about the patterns except that my favourite of the seven is number 4 which is like a fast flickering action.
The silicone of the CalExotics Red Hot Ember is smooth, but it will attract some lint. There are no seams, which makes cleaning super easy and quick. The tapered tip is great for pin-point stimulation, and for a small toy it has a relatively decent amount of power. It’s a great alternative to a bullet as it has the flickering action rather than just vibrating. Plus if you use it during intercourse, you can have the sensation of a good clitoral tongue flicking, whilst you are fucking. The CalExotics Red Hot Ember is also small enough not to get in the way, during couples play time.
Who will like this toy?
I think the Red Hot Ember from CalExotics will most suit clitoris-owners and couples that like simple but effective toys that won’t break the bank. It is ideal for those who like pinpoint stimulation and are not necessarily power queens. If you want a similar toy that is more powerful (and rumbly), the Fun Factory Volta is the better alternative.
Thank you to Carolyn at Betty’s Toy Box for allowing me the opportunity to test the CalExotics Red Hot Ember for them. What you read is my honest opinion. Affiliate links are used in this post.
